Success in Sustainable Water Conservation and Innovation
Continuing a legacy of water conservation with sustainability-focused solutions.
It all began with a thought from our founder, Nithish, in his hometown of Tirupur. With the growing water pollution from dyeing industries, Nithish wondered, “Can we do something to save water in our town?” That thought sparked the idea that led to the creation of Rain Beaver.
With research and insights from the National Institute of Hydrology, our founder identified rainwater harvesting as the ideal solution for the region’s challenges. This led to the founding of Rain Beaver as a social enterprise, offering water conservation solutions, starting with rooftop rainwater harvesting systems.
As our efforts gained success, we saw significant growth in both sales and impact. Over 1,000 households in Tamil Nadu have trusted us with our rainwater harvesting systems, and we continue to preserve rainwater for future generations.
In an effort to spread awareness about the importance of water conservation, we opened the first Rain Beaver Experience Center. It became a space where people could explore and learn firsthand how our systems work and how they contribute to solving water scarcity.
We continued to innovate, introducing our high-performance rainwater filter, capable of filtering particles up to 60 microns. Our services also expanded beyond Tirupur, reaching cities like Chennai and Kerala, bringing sustainable water solutions to more communities.
As we move forward, we’re excited to launch the Rain Beaver Live Experience Centre all over India, where people can see our systems in action. We are also working on a large-scale water storage project, an X- crore- litre private reservoir – that will further our mission to ensure no drop of water goes to waste.
